Trial tests I conducted on the beach, like many treasure hunters. By the way, this is one of the search options, and quite profitable. He himself found silver rings, crosses and chains. It happened that people who lost gold rings or chains addressed me, I helped them.
With a metal detector, you can drive to well-known seaside resorts and search there, I know cases of discoveries even of gold rings with diamonds.

I prefer to look in the fields in spring and autumn, when there is no big grass and mites. Mites, by the way, are not uncommon, so stock up with insect sprays. And it is better to buy a suit biostop or any other antiencephalitis. It has cuffs and pockets, traps, where the tick falls and ceases to be dangerous.
In the hot summer and when there is high grass in the fields, you can go to the forests, it is always fresh there and you feel great.
